My Platform
I'm running for District 41 Senate because I believe in experienced leadership that puts people first. Having served on the Fargo Board of Education, and with my extensive background in public health, I am ready to put my skills to work for our friends, families, and neighbors.
Cost of living, taxes, and housing
My years of service on the Fargo Board of Education showed me the importance of advocating for all families. Costs are simply outpacing wages. We need policies that ensure a living wage for a day's work, and reduce the tax burden on our vulnerable families. Our state should also do more to expand access to housing.
Strong schools and childcare
Our kids deserve a quality education, and school meals to support their learning. Our parents also deserve accessible childcare options. I fought for our families on the school board, and I will continue that fight for our families and public schools.
Workforce and Healthcare
We must put our people first; we are nothing without our talented workforce. As senator, I will fight to expand healthcare access at the state level, in addition to ensuring our workers are able to thrive in their occupations. Our state can do so much more to support its workforce, and I want to be a part of those efforts.
